Enrollment Process

Enrollment is happening now! If there are vacancies available after the first day of class, those will be filled accordingly. Reservations are confirmed when all terms are met.

All programs that a student is registering for, the terms to register must be:

Complete the enrollment form
Sign all acknowledgment forms
Be able to pass a drug screen
Have current healthcare provider CPR certification (unless you're taking it at the academy)
Provide an official High School diploma/transcript or an official copy of a GED, a fax will not be accepted.
Copy of driver's license or state ID card.
Completed health evaluation
Negative PPD skin test or chest x-ray within the past 12 months stating negative TB status.
Immunization record (or proof of immunity) for MMR, Varicella Zoser, and Hepatitis B.

Completion of ALL the needed/required items and $150.00 deposit will place the student on the class roster and ensure a seat in the next upcoming class.

Students may reschedule the course one time without any additional fees added on. This has to be done 72 business hours prior to the course starting date,

HCCA does have the right to cancel or postpone classes due to not enough students to register for any class. If there is a reason for HCCA to cancel or post-pone, then any and all monies paid would be refunded 100% if the student doesn't want to take the alternative date or dates provided.

Academy Policies/Requirements

Due to the essential requirements of the medical profession, the Minimum abilities of students are expected include, but not limited to:

The student must be Fluent in English. (Comprehension and Expression), and possess adequate communication skills to permit consistent, routine, timely, and productive interactions with the staff, clinical faculty members, the patients, and other students.
The student must demonstrate. sufficient emotional/psychological. health required for full utilization. Of intellectual abilities and must also be able to function effectively under stress.
The student must be able to endure physical and professional activities for extended periods of time under conditions of physical and or emotional stress.
The student must be able to ensure a continuous professional. and respectable image at all times, In the classroom and in the clinical setting.
